Drive resposibly 2009

"Open Youth" is organizing for second time the "Drive responsibly" campaign with the support of the "Youth in action" programme of the European Union and Toyota Bulgaria. In 2009 it will be carried out during one of the most intensive party periods – the second schools’ graduation parties from 20th to 30th of May when there is an increased risk of road accidents. The main purpose of the actions is to raise awareness and interest of the young people towards their own responsibility in reducing the number and gravity of road accidents. This year's campaign will be held in: Ruse - on May 22nd in the Youth park, alley "Peristeri" from 10:00 to 18:00 with the warm welcoming of Nikom - Rousse Ltd; Veliko Tarnovo - on May 24 on the DOMO store parking, 40 "Magistralna" street from 10:00 to 18:00 with the warm welcoming of Venci Ltd.; Gabrovo - on May 26 on "Vazrajdane" square in front of Gabrovo Municipality from 10:00 to 18:00 with the warm welcoming of Venci Ltd.; Sliven - on May 28 on "Hadji Dimitar" Square from 10:00 to 18:00 with the warm welcoming of Calais Ltd. and Burgas - on May 30 on "Alyosha" monument (in front of the City Court building) from 10:00 to 18:00 with the warm welcoming of Specta-Auto Ltd.. The citizens of the five cities will have the opportunity to try for free the two driving simulators. They will see what is it to drive under the influence of alcohol, but without actually using it, and the second simulates various extreme situations on the road.
