The aim of the project "My municipality and I” was to establish convergence and full communication between local authorities and young people. The project brought together young people from Ireland, Poland, Hungary, Italy and Bulgaria, who exchanged their experience in working with local authorities. Many ideas for improving communication channels between youth and local authorities were discussed. Meetings were held with mayors and municipal administration in Vidin and Belogradchik, and young people presented their ideas on how local authorities would work better with and for young people. Meetings were organized also with active young people in both cities and opportunities for future initiatives were discussed. Through this project convergence was achieved between municipal authorities and young people of school age. On one hand, they gained experience and knowledge to work with local authorities and on the other hand the authorities learned to listen to the young people more.
