| Wallony Upside Down: A Language Adventure |
13 - 20 August 2006, Nesseaunveau, BELGIUM
The international youth exchange that took place in Nesseaunveau, Belgium, was connected with learning French. Apart from the Bulgarian group there were also groups from Belgium, Italy and Lichtenstein. The time we spend there was full of workshops, different games and excursions. There were trips to Brussels, Liege and Verviers. We were able to see the carpet made of flowers in Brussels, the museum of Beer and we spent a lot of our time getting to know the other participants. In Brussels we had a guide who explained us everything about the king’s palace and how the beer was made. We had to present our country to the other groups so there were a lot of evenings, dedicated to the countries. Every country had to present its traditions and customs. There was also a play performed by the group leaders. And for the final evening – there was a party. The whole exchange helped us to learn French and to learn something more about Belgium.
