| Theatre Exchange |
4 June – 18 June 2006, Hadjusoboslo, Hungary
The project began with the party for welcome. On the next day we had the first task. Each country had to present a play, not less than 10 minutes long. All the participants did their best. Right after the dinner, our hosts prepared games during which we could know each other better. On the following day the Hungarians trained us how to behave on the stage. We did a lot of exercises.
On the third day the real work began- the rehearsals of the main play, called “The Buffoons” with a lot of humorous moments in it. We had a lot of exiting and interesting moments during our stay there. We visited the neighboring town Debrecen, spending a whole day there. We visited the gallery and the city theatre. The other exiting moment was the visit of the spa center in Haidusoboslo, where we spent the whole day too. We were relaxing in the hot swimming pools.
But the most amazing thing was, when we went to some horse farm in the village near Haidusoboslo and each of us rode a horse for some minutes. We didn’t only have fun, we worked hard over our play. We had a lot of rehearsals and in the end we performed it twice in the youth house before the volunteers, who came to Haidusoboslo for a festival. Second time we performed the play in front of the children from the local kinder garden in the village. Once it was in the spa center in front of all citizens, who came to have a rest there. And again in the youth house in front of the citizens, who came to see what we had done for these two weeks.
With our last performance, came the end of our exchange in Hungary. We had a lot of fun. We learned a lot of new things - how we have to behave in front of a public and we met many new people from Italy, Hungary, Estonia and Romania.
