6 - 15 October 2006, Domasha Dobra, SLOVAKIA

The other successful project organized from Open Youth took part in a project named “The future of Europe – our future”. The project took place in neighborhood Domasha Dobra near Preshov, Slovakia from 6 to 15 October 2006.

Slovakia is small country with beautiful nature, a lot of history and nice people.

The difference this time was that Open Youth invited some participants from C.E.D.B.

In the project took part different international non governmental organizations from Bulgaria, Slovakia, Greece , Malta, Chech Republic, Latvia.

Each of the participating organizations presented an exemplary project about how, according to the organization would seemed the constitution of EU. After that the common project of the constitution was worked out.

The conclusion that was made presented the common problems connected with development of democracy, antidiscrimination, the rates of citizenship, the liberty of free movement of human resources and services.

Each country presented its political system and after that all countries took part in a debate about the effectivity of all of them.

In this aspect the other conclusion was that it is necessarry to have better dialogue between executive power and more powerful role of nongovernmental organizations and medias.

All of the participating countries took port in team building games that were useful for working together and developing language skills.

It was planed a visit to the biggest castle in Slovakia located on a hill called Spishski castle.

The view was amazing reminded for the past.

The participants visited slovac pubs with national music, food and drinks.

During the international evening each country presented its national culture.

After that everyone shared his own opinion about the project and all said that the participants from Bulgaria were the most active in workshops and the presentations.

The whole project was a good experience both useful and funny.
