From October 26 to November 2 eight people in tenth grade, studying Spanish, along with their teacher Mr. Ivan Kodzhahinkov participated in the project "Cultural differences and European citizenship, which was held in Pilas – a Spanish town near Seville. We, Boriana (Xd), Galina (Xd), Maria (Xa), Marina (Xa), Jordan (Xa), Temenugka (Xb), Polinna (Xb) and Dario (Xv), showed to their peers from Ireland, Italy and Spain that cultural differences are not obstacles for entertainment, communication and friendship between us. The working language was English and we can say with pride that we spoke at a very good level, compared with the others. Flying thousands kilometers, we managed to jump over all language and cultural barriers.

Along with our daily activities, we had a lot of fun: we cooked national dishes, danced folk dances, watched Irish football, we were a concert of a modern Spanish musicians, even conserved olives. We did not miss to visit the landmarks of Pilas and Seville, and by night to taste the party life. We touched cultures very different from ours: the Irish with their skin like white cheese, red hair and unique healthy humor; the Italians - with their communicability, warm hearths and very high self-confidence; the Spanish - with their emotions, hospitality and hot temperament. We became television stars. We gave interviews to several local TV stations, and also participated in TV shows.

Thanks to our presence in a small town like Pilas, we were able to feel the Spanish spirit in its natural atmosphere. One more city, Seville, impressed us with its small streets, enormous squares and extremely beautiful old city. Together with our new friends we felt Heluin, visiting some night clubs. The last day we spent in Isla Magica - popular fun park in which high-speed shuttles turned us 360 °.

Unfortunately, as every good thing, our adventure ended. Departure was difficult and very sad, given that probably we will never meet again. Although still feeling nostalgic, we will never forget the people we met, the places we visited and the emotions we experienced.
