WROCLAW - Multi Culti Center

21-29 April 2005 Wroclaw, POLAND

Image Again we visited our Polish friends from SCM-ASTRA for the “Wroclaw – multi culti centre” exchange. The Bulgarian volunteers met great young people from Czech Republic, Greece, Germany and of course Poland.

The exchange dealt with the problems of respect and tolerance between members of different cultures and showed how different cultures co-exist in peace in the beautiful city of Wroclaw.

There were many workshops as well as games to help the participants know each other better, tasks around Wroclaw, showing the variety of cultures and brainstormers that helped to get a better view on relationships between people of different cultures. The meeting also taught us many things about the history of Wroclaw and Lower Silesia.

Image This exchange was a great success for the volunteers who had never been abroad before. They made firm friendships with the other young people and learned a lot about the world as a whole.

The Bulgarians were probably one of the most vivatic groups on the exchange. We always managed to be the soul of the company with our singing, guitar-playing, open people, beautiful girls and warm souls.

The last few days of the exchange were spent near the beautiful town of Stronie Szlonskie(needs revising) where the participants were introduced to the beautiful country-side of Poland, the breathtaking fortress of Klodzko.
