The specific objectives of the project were:

• to disseminate and multiply the good practice from three trainings of the Council of Europe - “Introduction to Organizing International Youth Activities” (2001), Training course for youth NGO leaders and civil servants working with youth (2002) and Training module on European Citizenship “The role of youth work in participation” (2005);
• to train 30 youth leaders to act as multipliers of European values and concepts, such as human rights, democracy and respect for cultural diversity;
• to develop participants’ knowledge and motivation to critically understand the European youth programmes and their potential to support the awareness for active participation among young people, through youth work;
• to prepare the youth leaders for the new generation of European programmes – (e.g. “Youth in Action” 2007-2013).
