The project was based on the:
- youth leaders self-motivation to learn;
- interaction between youth leaders and experts in the respective field;
- learner-centered and based on the experiences methods and simulations;
- the personal responsibility for learning, supported by a strong group dimension and a collective approach;
- taking into account the needs and motivations of participants and be open to regular feed-back and evaluations;
In general we used the principles and practice of non-formal education in COE youth work.
